Ingredients
- 1x 250g, 30 x 20cm Pinsa Oval Base
- Crème fraîche
- Organic Liquid Herb garlic
- 50g burrata
- 30g cooked beetroot, sliced
- Belazu Calabrian Chilli Hot Honey Sauce
- 30g pickled shallots, thinly sliced
- Fresh thyme sprigs
Please note: Prior to preparing this recipe, slice the beetroot and pickle the shallots
Method
- Preheat the oven to 300°C. Virtue Pinsa bases cook quickly in any commercial kitchen ovens.
- Place the Pinsa Romana Oval base flat on a clean work surface.
- Spread the crème fraîche evenly over the base, leaving approximately a 1-inch border around the edge.
- Add small drops of organic liquid herb garlic oil over the crème fraîche, then sprinkle with fresh thyme.
- Transfer directly to the oven.
- Cook for 3 minutes, or until the base is crisp and lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and top evenly with dollops of burrata, sliced beetroot and pickled shallots.
- Finish with a drizzle of Belazu Calabrian Chilli Hot Honey Sauce and an extra sprinkle of fresh thyme.
- Serve on an artisanal board, add some garnish and serve.
